Honeycomb Counseling, the solo practice of Amber Whitten in Belgrade, Montana, takes your privacy seriously. This page explains what we collect on this website, how we use it, and what we don’t store here at all.

What this website collects

This website is a simple information site. It has no accounts, no forms of its own, and no database. It does not collect or store your name, contact details, or appointment information.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit — to keep the site running and secure.

What this website does not store

Clinical information — session notes, diagnoses, treatment plans, what you talk about in therapy, or insurance claim details — is never stored on this website. That information lives in a separate, secure electronic health record system designed for clinical use.

The New Client Request form and client portal

The New Client Request form is run by our secure client portal, SimplePractice. What you type into it goes straight to SimplePractice — it is not stored on this website. The form asks for your contact details and date of birth, and you can choose to share why you’re reaching out. Share only what you’re comfortable with — we can talk about the rest on a brief intro call.

When you use Client Sign In, you leave this website and sign in to the SimplePractice portal. SimplePractice’s own privacy policy covers the information you share there.
